| Description: | C.R. England, a global transportation provider based in Salt Lake City, Utah, is seeking applications from qualified individuals for the position of Vice President, Independent Contractor Division. The vice president provides strategic leadership for the development and growth of this critical business unit. |
| Duties: | This position will be responsible for creating and executing strategic plans to fulfill growth and profit objectives and to promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and customers. The successful candidate will have day-to-day oversight for truck leasing and sales, a trailer dealership, an accounting and tax company and oversee over 2,200 independent contractors. This individual serves as a member of the C.R. England Executive Committee and has oversight for budgets in excess of $100 million and a staff of 90 full-time employees. Normal office environment but does require some travel, overnight stays, weekends and evening work. |
| Qualifications: | The ideal candidate will be creative, dynamic, and innovative with an entrepreneurial vision and a proven background in successful business development.
·Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years related experience, Master's Degree preferred
·Five to ten years in a significant administrative leadership position.
·Demonstrated leadership skills in past positions consistent with mission and leadership philosophy of C.R. England
·Demonstrated entrepreneurship and business development
·Experience in strategic planning and execution
·Experience in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment
·Strong understanding of business financials and sales issues
·Experience is the trucking and/or transportation industry is preferred, but not required
·Computer skills include experience with Microsoft Office products - MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook
